CONGRATULATIONS TO IGOR SIKORSKY KPI ON ITS 125th ANNIVERSARY

On November 25, 1896, at a private meeting in the house of commercial advisor Lazary Brodsky, a decision was made to establish the Polytechnic Institute in Kyiv, and on August 31, 1898, the university opened its doors to the first 360 students.

Today, KPI boasts:

• 8 name changes of the university;

• 23 rectors;

• 14 faculties and 10 institutes;

• over 5,000 employees;

• hundreds of renowned scientist alumni;

• a priceless community, with more than 20,000 students, making KPI a large family.
